Working Groups

There are two subcommittees (working groups, WGs) which report to the steering committee

Technical Working Group

The technical WG is responsible for the data collation infrastructure and analysis mechanisms. There is a number of sub-working groups within the technical working group inclusing: Methylation, RNA, QC, and germline.

Chairs: David Wedge, Joachim Weischenfeldt, Bernie Pope.

Clinical and Pathology Working Group

The clinical and pathology WG is responsible for the clinical data dictionary structure and collation of clinical questions. It is also responsible for the creation of an international pathology review network and collation of pathology questions.

Chair: rotating

Analysis Groups

Analysis groups based around similar subprojects that have been proposed. This is so we can work together to produce high quality research and produce the optimal outcome from the data. The current analysis working groups are:

  • Drivers and Functional Interpretation (leads: Juri Remand, David Wedge)
  • Ethnicity (leads:Vanessa Hayes, Oliver Cussenot)
  • Evolution (leads:David Wedge, Benedikt Brors)
  • Germline (leads:Ros Eeles, Geraldine Cancel-Tassin)
  • Mutational Processes (leads:Joachim Weischenfeldt, Juri Reimand)
  • Non Genomic Analyses (leads:Dan Brewer, Neil Corcoran)
  • Pathology and Genomics (leads:Massimo Loda, Rob Bristow)
